It has been a tough time since I came back from Japan. I took Mok To UPM vet clinic and on 29 July Mok was admitted to UPM animal hospital Intensive Care for his renal problem. It was so heartbreaking to see Mok who was always free-moving to be so despondent. On Saturday, though the clinic is closed, the vet called requesting me to bring Mok usual food. I guess he has the same problem - doesn't eat.

31 July, Saturday, I visited Mok bringing his food. He looked so depressed with his head down, not even responding to my call. He has a drip on one foot and he moved very little, most time sitting in his litter tray. I talked to him gently rubbing his head and his neck. Then only he perked up and gave a gentle miaw. Oh my Mok, my heart crushed seeing him so pathetic in that condition.

3 August, I went again to UPM hoping Mok would be discharged but I was told that Mok is in a critical condition. He might live another year or so. I just couldn't express how I felt except to cry. That was how Izrin felt when he was told Raisa would not live long. Mok is a popular cat. Siti, the fourth year student who took care of him confessed that she was happy to have Mok. He is such a good cat who didn't struggle, bite or scratched when he was given his medication. Mok is indeed a lovable docile cat. Today he looks better and looked me in the eye when I called him. Dr. Chan said to check again on Thursday, he might be discharged. Oh God, please make Mok well. I dread the day to see him gone for good from me. My heart will be broken into tiny pieces again.
Today is Thursday 5 August 2010. I went to UPM to bring Mok home. He doesn't look good and still refuses to eat.I am at wit's end on how to make him eat so that he could put on a bit of weight again. Mok has to go for follow-up check up on 16 Aug anf do his dialysis twice a week. Poor Mok.
